Gene Stream Pty Ltd is a privately owned biotechnology company, founded in Perth, Western Australia. Our focus is the development and provision of gene-based research tools that stream-line drug discovery.

 

Our missions are to develop, patent and market improved DNA-based research tools, particularly for use in drug discovery and development, and to provide the pharmaceutical industry with enhanced technologies that improve the accuracy and cost-effectiveness of drug discovery programs.

 

Gene Stream was founded in 2001 by Dr John Daly, the Managing Director and inventor of our current technologies. Gene Stream was awarded with a Biotechnology Innovation Fund (BIF) grant for each of its two projects, making Gene Stream the first Australian company to be awarded two of these prestigious grants. Gene Stream maintains 100% ownership and control of its intellectual property, whilst the company itself is owned by a small group of dedicated investors.
